We saw a flyer about an “Art Walk” in Rawlins and decided to do the walking tour ourselves….
Only a few foundation and a few chimneys exist here. The cemetery is worn out only showing a few numbered markers and a display who is buried there. It does make for a nice walk between the sites of the Interpretative Center, Cemetery and Main Buildings.
Cute little park with tons of gras to picnic, a pavillion to rent, Tennis courts, playground , BBQ pits and LIVE music in the summer on thursdays nice green oasis in an otherwise rocky and somewhat barren landscape.
