Early morning birding

01/12/2019

We slept in and I thought it would turn into a lazy morning but we skipped breakfast and went to Bentsen Rio Grande Valley State Park  to enjoy the sunny but cool morning.

We were not disapointed at all. We were lucky enough to catch  the Tram and did not have to walk much.

We saw 11 Javelinas a Cotton Rat and many birds from Cardinals to White-Eyed Vireo, Black Crested Titmouse, Altamira Oriole , Inca Doves….and some more.

Such a shame that this park wont be accessible to the public anymore once the borderwall has been built.
