The Mission Historic Museum had a small Dia de Muerto Festival we checked out Friday night. There was no charge to enter. Inside the building you could see about 6 decorated altars and outside they had different vendors for food, jewelry, decoration, etc. They also had some sort of talentshow outside ( we guess since it was all in spanish )
We love these little small town event when the community comes together to celebrate something ( or just to get out of the house ) Family still seems to be of high value here in south texas.
