German Cuisine

I was able to get Andrea out of the Hospital and we were able to meet friends of ours for dinner in Batesville,IN

We met them in the Sherman Hotel,  established in 1852 and named in honor of General Sherman. http://www.the-sherman.com/

German look & feel everywhere, the menu was nicely selected and they offered good good, 3 of us had schnitzel ( 2 Jaeger ,1 Wiender) and since germans are not known for their vegetarian cooking I had 3 sides ( warm potatosalad, braised red cabbage and garlic kale ) everything was excellent. They had a 50 % of a bottle of wine special and also Weihenstephaner Weizen on tap. Overall a great eating experience and it was good to catch up with our friends we havnt seen in two year.
