After work we drove the 42 miles from Rawlins to Saratoga so we can take a soak in the HOBO Hot Springs. This has been my first time at a natural Hot Springs ( other than Hot Springs National Park) and I am wondering if they all have this strong sulfur smell.
The Hobo bath has a nice setup gravel inside the pool and stone benches to sit on, the benches are covered in slimy algae which one has to mentally overcome before sitting down. The Water is nice and warm, almost too hot to sit in there long, there a small basins people build by the river but they are not deep enough to sit in.. I did saw a crawfish in the river so I assume its a healthy body of water.
