The tour starts with a great Audio Visual Tour of the history of the Ryman. Very nicely done that gives you the feeling you are part of it vs just watching a movie. The self guided tour then proceeds into the Auditorium to the upper level which some items on display and then visits the lower level where you can have your picture taken on the stage. The seating is simple, wooden benches like you see in a church.
Definitely a worthwhile visit when you are in Nashville.
