Parthenon /Nashville/ Tennessee

We visited the Parthenon in Nashville and were not disappointed.  I am not a big fan of Art Museum and was a bit disappointed with the first floor. Don’t get me wrong, great artwork but just not my thing.

As I walked through one Picture caught my eye and I thought to myself “that looks like Kaaterskill Falls from Poet Ledge”… I walked a few steps back  to read the info and sure enough it was exactly that.. The Artist def captured the beauty of that spot.

The Second Floor is a replica of Athena’s Temple and more interesting. There is a 7.5 ton double hung bronze door and a golden statue of Athena… Very impressive.

$6 to go in and located in a beautiful park with Bicycle rentals right next  to it.
