Crown Point Campground is located in Crown Point, NY close to the border with Vermont.
Most of the sites have no privacy and with a lot of them its hard to tell where one ends and the other starts.. which causes some campers to park “willy nilly” I think this is more of a “Party Campground” there is a boat launch and the lake allows motorboats so there is a lot of noise from that. Probably a good spot for family camping/gatherings but not for nature seeking people that enjoy quiet time.
NY State also needs to invest in some upgrade the water at the dumping station was constanly running and the bathrooms are in dire need of an upgrade the drains don’t work well and everything was just old and used up
There are some cool historic sites to visit which includes a over 100 year old lighthouse, a great visitor center, Fort Crown Point and Fort St. Frederic.
