This place is probably the main reason why we have the RV. I used to go there every weekend to walk or hike with the dogs and have always been amazed with the place. Andrea had issues with her knee and could never join me so i thought buying a camper would be nice for her to enjoy nature and the amazing sunsets and sunrises there.
The campground offers little but nature and scenery….little to no cellphone coverage, no electric, basic bathrooms. The amount of local history , hiking trains, waterfalls and wildlife makes up for this. It is one of our favorite spot and we try to Go there in the sping and fall every year.
One of the many small water falls in the area
Campsite close to water need to be reserved months in advance
