Faver-Dykes State Park, FL

Located about 12 miles south  of St.Augustine Faver-Dykes State Park is a birdwatchers paradise. Road ( or lack of ) within the park is a dirt road so be prepared to drag a alot of sand in your rig. The sites are private and spacious and the centrally located bathroom could use  an update.

Overall we loved the park. It offered many nature trails to hike  or bike, has a fishing dock, boatlaunch and a picknic area.

On one of my bicycle trips  I spooked up some wild pigs and on another one an armadillo.
