Although it is close to all of the tourist attractions, Myrtle Beach State Park offers a natural habitat with hiking trails, picnic facilities, a fishing pier and close to a mile of Atlantic beaches.
There are 350 campsites with water, electric & free wi-fi included. The sites are somewhat close together but the sheer size of the park itself makes up for it. Showers & laundry rooms are located throughout the property. The ranger station offers basic emergency items and a wide variety of collectibles.
The campsite is pet friendly and so is the beach before 8:00am and after 5:00pm from May 1 through Labor Day, all day outside of that time frame.
